I tried clicking the picture and it's asking me to log into flckr but I don't have an account.

There's so many things that can creak, from seat rails to there handlebar stem clamp, the chainring, pedals and rear wheel bearings.

Earlier this year I convinced myself that a creaking was my seat rails but it turned out to be the start of the rear wheel bearing wearing out

I replaced all of the bottom bracket, chain and freewheel chasing some goddam clicking this time last year.
I think they must all of have been fairly worn out at the same time and cleaning the bloody thing during lockdown#1 just washed away the last bits holding it together.
On the plus side, pushbike parts are dead cheap.

he's going to take it to his local shop, and get them to tell him the issue.

He took it to the shop today and they said the bracket was loose, tightened it for him and sent him on his way
