Will a Bluetooth USB 'dongle' work better than inbuilt BT

Macbook Pro 2012
My bluetooth is weak, if I have Wifi on the speakers cut out momentarily to a point where its not useable.
Is and aftermarket dongle likely to be a stronger connection over the inbuilt thing made by Apple? Ebay has plenty listed, and I would expect all computers to have inbuilt bluetooth by now?!!

What are you trying to connect? Never heard of BT being 'weak' as such, it's generally very reliable.
Confused what wi-fi on a speaker has to do with it though... what speakers?

I use my macbook with a range of bluetooth devices
JBL 3 speaker
Pioneer DEH "car" stereo
KS Harlem Headphones
Anker soundbuds slim
I've been suffering this problem for ages and when I looked into it the problem is caused by weak Wifi/ internet.
EG now I'm using the JBL while the macbook is tethered to my phone. If the Wifi signal isnt fantastic the macbook 'robs' some power from the bluetoothing part of the laptop causing the bluetooth sound to cut out.

Maybe you need a stronger wifi signal instead? What does that side of the setup look like?
Are you hooking into a cafe wifi network from the van? Or using a 4G hotspot device?
