I have Thule T-Track bars on the car roof. I use Thule 598 bike carriers on them fairly often but remove them when not in use.
The rubbers which run the length of the bars are puckering up a bit. And the bike racks can be a little awkward to slide on and off sometimes.
Does anyone use anything similar? If so, do you lubricate the rubbers with silicon grease or similar? Maybe I have the three levers which hold each rack in place too tight.
Thule T-Track bars, lubricating the rubbers?

Use brake fluid, DOT4, the DOT5 doesn't work as well on roof racks.
