Royal Enfield Interceptor custom

Post by Potter »

My mate has one that looks a bit like the picture below, but IMHO his is nicer than this one.
I've been meaning to get a picture and start a thread but I haven't seen him for a bit.

Anyway, he reckons it's his favourite bike and he has some really nice modern fast bikes.
He said it will sit at 140kph all day, no vibration issues and so far it's been perfectly reliable. I think he's had it a good 12 months now.

It's another of those bikes that are on my list of things to get if ever I find the mojo to start buying bikes again.

YEah i can go with that.... I like the wire wheels, like the shape of it overall.

Rear shock spring looks almost fully compressed ?

Is it not just a progressive spring that's tight at the top?

Quite tasty. Decent height bars too.

I'll try and get a picture of the one owned by the fella I know, that one above is ok at first glance, but I don't like the chrome seat hump, the fork gaiters, the chrome headlamp and that nasty looking end can.

It's a bit too BSA Goldstar for me, the bloke I know did his more like the original Interceptor but you can tell it's a modern bike.

I reckon that bike 👆 looks absolutely superb. The perfect leather jacket street bike. Very nicely styled, front, middle and backend.
