BOXER RACER: NORTH EAST CUSTOM’S BMW R1150R ROCKSTER

I kinda like it - they've done some performance work and by the looks of the tyres it gets used hard.
Oddly they don't seem to have tweaked the Paralever angles by using a shorter arm.
Not sure about the gold wheels and forklegs or the headlight though.

I like that alot, although it does look a bit tall for the styling.
Deffo like it alot though. It's what the R NineT would be with a funny front end innit.

Yeah, I'm quite keen on that. Would prefer some side panels instead of the open scaffold appearance and would have liked it if they could have kept the BMW three-button indicators though the changed switchgear looks miles better than the clunky BMW mass of plastic.
I even like the headlight. And the gold fork stanchions.

Lots of really lovely detail touches. A quality toy.

I always think something propping up the side stand is a sign the bike's foowked.

I like that a lot. Best seat unit I've seen on anything lately.

If it's the OE stand (it looks like it), and they've changed the suspenders to raise the bike's ride height (which they have), then, yeah - it's going to lean over a long way...... It looks like it's 'higher' than mine (which has OE rear shock, but a GS Paralever arm - adds about 1-2cm to the overall ride height).Asian Boss wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 7:56 pm I always think something propping up the side stand is a sign the bike's foowked.

I actually prefer the look of a stock Rockster, I'd happily have another ginger/black one in my garage.

They definitely look better in the flesh and copper is the best colourway.v8-powered wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 4:49 pm I actually prefer the look of a stock Rockster, I'd happily have another ginger/black one in my garage.
