So,

Next year we'll of course be doing Portimao as a group, but on top of that, the yearly tradition of TRC/RTTL trackday extravaganza will (i hope) be being planned and put into place for July/August.

What we're going to do is offer a space FoC to a member/poster/contributor within RTTL forum.

There are some terms and conditions.
1. You will be a novice to trackdays (maximum of 1 trackday previously)
2. You will have your own bike and kit (or you can hire one for the day)
3. You will be an ACTIVE member of the forum and contributing regularly to discussions.
4. The mods will vote somewhere between now and when the trackday is organised as to who gets the space. The space/booking will be paid in full by RTTL.

More details will be forthcoming as we get dates etc. But for now i'm just putting it up so you know.

I’m out as I’ve fallen off at Brands , Rockingham and Silverstone and have also not fallen off at Lydden, Mallory, Snetterton and Oulton Park.

Does it include flights?

I've never fell off on a tarmac track - does that make me a novice?
I've lost count of how many times I fell off on motocross tracks, sometimes it was multiple times in one lap.

Yeah... errrrrm No.

I know who i'd like... but persuading them would be next to impossible so i won't bother.

That said, we've got at least 3-4 months before we get to this stage and plenty of contenders.

Thanks for the kind offer. PBTD have a suspension guy you'll likely know on retainer. So I'm guessing it's probably unlikely. But we'll ask when I speak to the boss in the new year

I've done part of one trackday on my 996 before the engine died. I have however done the Ron Haslam school twice.

My mum has spent more time on track than me. Seriously

I am tempted to put my hand in my pocket anyway.

If you have an interest I'd certainly consider you in the spirit of the forum as you're a long standing active poster.

Honestly...I can't say. My wife is doing a double marathon some time June/July which is covid dependent. Lots of things are dependent on other things!

I've said to myself i was gonna do Pembrey the last 2 or 3 years but it never works out. I plan to do some days at a track local to me in spring and see how that goes

No one can say much as you'd expect at the moment, we don't have dates, this was just a minor poke to the user base to post more and win a trackday

We've got a few Silverstone booked

I'm fortunate in that Silverstone is 15 minutes from me, I'm unfortunate that its the most expensive track in the UK! Bedford is about 20 mins the other way though, which is nice
