If ya gonna do a runner from the rozzers...

Post by ZRX61 »

Chose your vehicle wisely... Some perp stole a $350,000 Hennessy VelociRaptor last night... Apparently stolen from a dealership & belongs to some bloke by the name of Marshmello...

Gotta admit, for that kind of money it would be a toss up between one of these & a couple of Astons...

Possibly the most unless truck known to man and the slowest high speed chase ever. The truck defeated in the end by a 2" kerb....

8-10in kerb & it looks like the base of the pole he took out holed something important. Kerb wasn't an issue. That Post Malone chap has one.

And only in America would you have metal amenity columns that rip at the base rather than bend.

I want one.......

It appeals to my inner 5 year old as it looks like a big Tonka toy.😁

Did it still have its standard spec auxiliary braking equipment, ie the wooden wheel-chock?

Inboard drums on the front , outboard drums on the rear. Though I must admit during the "event" of me doing the runner, they weren't used much.

This is what happens when you buy a fashion truck instead of a stock one. My F350 crew cab dually would easily drive over kerbs etc & wasn't lifted.. altho it had enough ground clearance that I could lay under it to do oil changes without having to jack it up. I think the clearance was around 16in, not sure what the clearance is on the Hennessy.
I don't think the kerb had anything to do with him stopping, there's a cloud of *something* as he stop & it can still be seen a bit later. So it's not a burst tire & it's not coolant, I think he holed an AC line & got a snoot full of freon or he may have holed an intercooler pipe.

Today's main chase was far more entertaining :)

Plus it only took 3 airport cops to get him cuffed & stuffed instead of the usual 20 LAPD or SD. Also: Notice the height of the kerb after he drives through the fence...

Consider who we know who owns one:
Rapper Marshmello & Post Malone....
