Went to see this last night and despite the high expectations it still blew me away. Great film and highly recommended.

It is bloody loud though.

I seen it last Tuesday and there was one scene in particular that was ridiculously loud at the cinema.

Thoroughly enjoyed it though.

I find that with Nolan films...

Characters mumble, mumble, mumble... FUCKING LOUD MUSIC

I'd quite like to see it having read a lot about how it focuses on something that was only a small part of the original (involves lotus flowers), some have gone a bit overboard on the PTSD interpretation and I expect I'll feel sorry for Cyclops :(

I really enjoyed Nolan's early stuff (Memento is worth digging out) and I thought his Batmans were

Also want to see Interstellar at some point, but given my abiding memory of the last couple of visits to the actual cinema are 'I wish I'd bought earplugs and I wish that :angry-cussingblack: behind me wasn't giving a running commentary to his chum and I wish that :angry-cussingblack: in front of me would put his :angry-cussingblack: phone in his pocket' I think I'll just get a bigger TV and a better sound bar.

I’d love to have seen Interstellar at the cinema. One of my favourites that’s for sure.

After my previous post I ordered the 4k version of it. :D (The current soundbar will have to do for now)....

Is Odysseus the prequel to The Odyssey?

Nah, it's a compilation of Bill Oddie monologues on Springwatch.

And if anyone wants to know what that's all about I'll plug Christopher Logue's 'War Music' book (and the ones that followed it) as an introduction. Cracking yarn...in verse. :D
