What you got then, another sunny one here currently.

Fri. Driving to mid Wales for the National Championships. Catching up with mates and having a few cold ones.
Sat. Race practice for the boy and spanner duty for me.
Sun. Race runs and home....

Going to be a long and very interesting weekend.

Looking at the package that arrived yesterday I may be spending the week doing the equivalent of origami on a bunch of bits that are supposed to go together to make mesh screens for the bedroom windows!

(To let the air in but not the mozzies).

Just in case I've also got a large mosquito net to go over the bed. Might seem a bit OTT but not if you react to the bites like I do.

Off work today for the eye clinic, see what comes of that.

Nothing planned for the weekend, maybe watch the open and do something with the kids one of the days.

Currently sitting in The Wolseley's bar having broken my fast there. Then a slow meander to London City airport and a flight back to home, well via Berlin, some German trains and a car journey.

The rest of the weekend, I don't know.

CT Scan tomorrow morning, then, hopefully, off to Sussex to pick up my new (to me) car! The rest of the weekend will involve roof down driving to various seafronts.

Friday, finished a night shift this morning, bit of gardening on zombie day and an early night.
Saturday, 12hr day shift at work, might be lazy and take the motorbike in.
Sunday, maybe a BBQ, defo a beer or two and a lazy day with Mrs M.....possibly some MTB.

I think so too, but a years time will tell if `i still have that opinion or just a big fat pile of workshop bills! I have hedged my bets though as it has an amazing service history, being serviced at 7k, 11k, 14k, 16k, 17k, 19k, 21k, 23k, 28k, 29k, 31k, 32k and 33k!

Get that plate changed, ASAP. It's a pull just waiting to happen.

Mrs. G gets home today, so that'll be nice. Shame I'm out with a bunch of distinguished gentlemen this evening to discuss important world events over a pint or two before going for a Ruby.

Tomorrow will be up with the sparrow and off to the gym, then in the afternoon Ol' Ma Gremlin will host a bit of a family gathering. It will be nice to find out which of my three adult (yeah, right) nieces have fallen out with each other this time.

Sunday may or may not involve slapping paint onto a summer house. Depends if we can be bothered, I suspect.

We're considering some of those nets, which ones did you get?

Guests over the weekend, so today will be a lot of tidying and cleaning the house.

One of these log splitter is being delivered this morning.
I've got a whole load of wood on the drive that needs splitting ready to keep us warm this winter.

When you've finished the origami, let us know which screens you went for ?

Today, just heading off to physio in a bit - actual physio then into the pool for more but different physio
Then I have some paperwork to do and maybe finish stretching a cross stitch for some friends

Saturday - going to see a fellow inmate who is still in the rehab centre and then heading to some friends near Grenoble who got married a few weeks ago (I know him from my first rehab back when I couldn't speak French! She speaks decent english and he tries, so conversation used to be quite interesting - now I speak better french, hopefully it'll be much easier )

Sunday - stretching hte cross stitch I did in rehab. Then chilling cos I think I'm heading up to resort to what the final with some friends

A Lifesystems one (had their hiking/camping stuff before). Went for the one that suspended in a wedge from above the bed head rather than one that suspends from the ceiling/light fitting.

So I have to drill/rawplug for two hooks* in the wall. I've just ordered their 'fitting spares' kit as other buyers recommended that. Whether a 'double' net is big enough for our bed I dunno yet but I couldn't see a bigger one in that type.

Amazon have a fair few but I went with a name I know.

* one would probably do but as it'll be up for a few months at a time I'll go belt and braces.

A NeatiEase one from Amazon. You stick magnetic strip around the window the the mesh is clipped between another magnetic strip and a white plastic one. All the strips and mesh are cuttable to size.

Fine if the window opens outwards (as ours do) but, because of the window handle I'll have to remove it when I close the window - so easily put-on-and-offable was a key criterion. Something else to find a storage location for for most of the year.

Boats about to dock in Plymouth, then it's a 300 mile ride back to Barnsley!

MOT tomorrow- Considering selling the NC and keeping the CBR -might use webuyany bike unless someone from here wants it as I can't handle using eBay.
Moving stuff in the loft as its getting boarded out next week (not looking forward to that).
