Bathrooms, towels, how often ?

I know, i shouldn't read random stuff on-line, but the wi-fi was having a hissy fit so i was on my phone.
"you must wash your towel after a shower" "you can't use the same one for multiple days"
etc etc...
I find that slightly bizarre.... Do you use a different and clean towel every time you shower ? Or do you hang your towel to dry and re-use ?

One in the loo and kitchen are changed daily or when to damp to be of use. Shower every two days but we have one each rather than share.

Bath towel get used once before washing, mostly because I only have one bath a week
Bathroom hand towel lasts me a week.
Shower towel gets used 3 - 4 times a week before being washed*
*caveat that's if it has dried between uses, if it hasn't dried between uses it gets replaced, but then I've just got me some of them quicky drying microfibre jobbies to help with that.
Replace every time?!?!?!?!?!?!, yeah but nah, I've just got out the shower and am clean I'm not dragging muck onto the the towel whislt drying my nuts off.

I think their logic is that if you've dried your nuts on run 1, then you're putting your nuts onto your face (so to speak) on run 2....
I'm of the thought that i've got out of the shower clean... .therefore everything is clean anyway.

Same, and even if they're right, which they aren't, they're my nuts, sooooooo......

The wife has a selection of towels in the bathroom, I've no idea how often she washes them.
I have a towel, my towel that I use in the ensuite after a show and lives on a towel rail, which gets washed probably once a fortnight.

All current towels go in 'the towel wash' once per week and 'week 2' towels get deployed.
As for the nuts/face thing I have 2 towels, one hand towel and one bath towel in my shower room. One's for hands and face the others for everything else. Wife has a bewildering collection in hers. Linen for this and cotton for that and a collection of flannels and...ad infinitum.
The internetz - bah - they'd have you changing your chuddies more than once a month.

In the wash after 1 use. Living alone means I’ve got lots of towels, so never an issue. When I go away I’m normally camping so 1 towel sees me through however long I’m away for.
Now, bedding……………………………………

Couple of towels on the towel rail, probably changed weekly at most.
I'm of the opinion that your wiping off clean water from a clean body. Clearly Mrs. G shares my stance as well, as we have communal towels, but then we've been together sharing bodily fluids and whatnot since the age of 15 any way

. Beds and towels get taken for a wash and mangle on Saturday mornings as part of the weekend routine.

Out of shower straight into thick towelling dressing gown.
That's me instantly 75% dry
Small towelling for head and face.
Other towel for lower legs.
Job done

In the wash after 1 use.
Even posh hotels that leave a chocolate on your bed try to encourage you to reuse towels.

Bathroom towel, after three or four uses.
Hand towels, once a week (or maybe more depending - I tend to fill the washing machine with whatever's around).
Tea towels, every day or two.

It’s a bad habit picked up from my ex. She would literally follow me round until I let go of the towel and off it went to be washed!! If I fell asleep in a pair of jeans I could easily wake up in the washing machine.
Anyhoo, there’s hotels who give free chocolate??

Sort of. In my posh cabin on this ferry, I got these freebies. Including a Twix

I have my own towel as the kids are minging. Wash it once a week. I'm wiping clean water off me and as long as the towel dries properly then it's all good. I remember years and years ago, must have been as Jonny Vaughan was the DJ on the office radio, him having a pop at his sidekick for not changing his towel daily and I couldn't understand why unless you aren't washing properly.

To save the planet....
....and reduce their laundry costs.
Makes you feel good about saving them money.

I've stayed in places where the mini-bar has juice, water, fresh milk, nibbles and the occasional couple of beers/mini-bottles of wine and there's a message saying 'On checking out, please take whatever you require'.
It's a nice touch.

(All paid for in the price of the room of course, but they don't have to do it).
Same with the chocolates on the pillow and the bowls of fruit.

my money.
Mostly the money, granted.

A number of the hotels in Vietnam had free beers in the mini bar, but water you got charged for.
