Anyone know anything about Norco?

I've heard of them but don't 'know' then as a brand or what their bike are like.
Specifically looking at the Fluid A1

As I said when we were out the other day, what I'd really like is the spectral, and the spec on this one is hard to pass over.
But.. And there's always one.. My employer and canyon use different c2w providers and neither will even consider using the others, so it's off the table for now.

Pedal syndicate is in the list and the Norco is a possible.

It turns out that even though the website says £3600, it's actually £2700.
The one niggle is that they don't have a demo, so my first chance to ride one will be after buying.

You weirdos.... Pressfit are honestly fine now. Even companies like Hope do them in either SRAM or Shimano fitment.

Nah, they're just rubbish but honestly it's not 1995 any more, pressift are fine now. My current BB was fitted 2 weeks ago and was £9. It doesn't have to be insane. It's a 10 minute swap and cheap to do, so we'll see how long mine lasts.

It wouldn't (wasn't) a deal breaker.

But you enjoy taking your bikes apart every 2 mins, I just want to ride and not spend more time faffing than I really need to.

LOL i'd rather not take them apart if i can help it.

Deal done and dusted, a couple of weeks wait for it to be built and wrapped, the guy wrapping it is away for a fortnight

Now I am a dinosaur, and my last bike was a Ridgeback rigid with a biopace crankset, but.......
that looks bloody complicate, and bloody weird too.

Mountain bikes are designed to climb steep hills. So you get a 32 on front with a 50 on the back and can climb climb climb.

That paint looks lovely. Happy new bike day, the worst bit is the waiting for it to arrive!

I knew they had low gears, my Ridgeback was supposed to be a mountain bike, but I have never seen anything so extreme. It just looks wrong.
