Finally got the WR450F out of storage, as it's been sat for a while withoiut the fuel being drained thought it would be wise to give it a quick clean.
After ordering the rebuild kit and opening it up, it needs more than a spray of carb clean and a wipe over.

Can anyone recommend where I can get this ultrasonically cleaned before I starte the rebuild?

Hasn't Julian got one of those ultrasonic baths? Maybe he'd do it for a ha'peth of gruel. I think he's in Suffolk somewhere.

If there's no-one local that can offer free use of a cleaner, a 3 litre one is about £74 on Amazon. Handy thing to have.

(It also gives some idea of who has one and, with a bit of detective work, where they are. I know one is near Chichester and another in the Norfolk/Suffolk region. Pretty sure there's a Surrey one too).

Where are you based in the UK?

I'm based in London, but can travel a bit. din't realise they were so reasonably priced to be fair!

As said in that other thread - just make sure that IF you buy one, it's large enough to fit your largest component.
