Since Dixon and Chantra are bolloxed,Johnny Rea gets to race for Homda this weekend. It'll likely be a race to see who can finish second to Bulega.

Love the track and it's usually pretty good racing there. Should be a cracker. Don't forget that coverage has all moved to HBO Max.

Bloody love Portimao (always think of it as Cadwell but on serious steroids!!) - now to see if I can get the HBO thingy on the iPad here. It’s an english bought and registered one and I ‘think’ it threw a fit when I last tried, but I may have forgotten to turn off the vpn saying I was in the uk!!! (I get the app on my old French pad, so I need to try the vpn thing as would love to watch that!!)

Pretty dull race one with the riders spread out. Most of the action was centred on the battle for 6th place.
Good to see the home hero bag a podium, though.

Yup, that's really some achievement - based on that performance, I'll be very interested to see how their V4 performs in WSB ( and who they get on it/them? ) next season, but in the meantime, the SSP and Sportbike races were great watches IMO , and bode well for the rest of the year
