Marc's playground. Will Aprilia spoil his party?
And don't forget.
We have Bagger racing.....

How 'Priller and Marc go, relative to each other, is the most interesting thing about COTA MotoGP for me. This should give us a clear insight into how the rest of the season might play out.
And notice that since the Bez-Aprilia nuptials were consummated a month or so ago there has been NO movement in the 2027 rider market. People have realised that it's best to see how things pan out before committing to an uncertain future.
As for Gaggers - meh.

Aprillia spoilt the party in 2024 when Maverick Vinales won from 11th place after Marc Marquez crashed out whilst leading.
Francesco Bagnaia won last year.
In fact Marc hasn't won at Cota since 2021.

Marc's starting to make a habit of crashing out at COTA while leading; he did it last year and gifted the race to Pecco. Trying to pinch too much of a still-wet kerb, as I remember.

Awesome sprint race
But in the back of my mind, I thought there was a 7 minute time limit to get the bike back to parc ferme ???
J.M. came back in a car.
But super chuffed he's back

When he tried to wheelie after the last corner and before the finish line he looked a bit dodgy, I'm not surprised he dropped the bike.

Marc really hasn't had a stellar start to this year. I think he's overcompensating for his shoulder injury and just basically trying too hard while he's still injured. I think the cancellation of the two April races will be a big help for both MM and Jorge Martin, as both need healing time. Gutted for Bez; he overcooked it on the brakes on the way into the turn and the bike was still unsettled when he tipped it in, with a predictable result.

Good sprint, gutted for Digi, Marq was being a prat he's not looked right and typical trying to force it to fit when he had laps to settle in.
Great ride by Martin, so good to see him back. Bez needs to wind it in just a little as he has a decent chance of a title fight. Good racing though again this round. Gutted for Mir and well played to Pedro he's peddling that KTM well

Bez is unstoppable in the GPs. 5 wins on the bounce and 121 laps lead continuously. And he seems a really genuine guy, admits his mistakes and is humble in his approach. Forza Aprilia! Forza Marco!

Very impressed with Ai Ogura in the GP, before his bike carked it. He was just going past top riders like he was riding a different race to the rest of them. Without his bike failure, I honestly think an Aprilia 1-2-3 podium was on the cards.

Like an undersubscribed class at a club meeting.
Nine riders. How embarrassing for the organisers. You’d have thought with so few entries that they would have persuaded/paid to get at least half a dozen more.
