Using Chrome and a lot of website go to a small pinned tab. I dont like it. How do I prevent them from doing this?

I happens to me occasionally in Edge, I had no idea it was the site doing it, I just thought I'd clicked something wrong when I was pissed.

I thought the same initially but then I saw i had it on Bing (works pc) too.

No Idea, I use Chrome on 3 devices and it only does it on one

Its getting worse too. Normally a right click gives me an unpin option and then i click the X and its gone. Now, on ocassion, I have no unpin option, so I have to drag the tab it into its own browser window and then close that window.

Got a screen shot of the pinned tab ?
I spend hours on Chrome everyday and dont have this problem.

A quick google reports from other users that it might be an Extension causing it.
You could reset Chrome but would lose changes you have made.

Of course its not doing it now, but i'm on my works Surface pc at present? When it does it, the tab shrinks so you can only see the favicon and not the full sized tab?

I use Chrome every day, all day for years and years and never once seen what you're talking about

Can you screenshot it when you next see it ?

That generally only happens when you've got too many tabs open for the width of the window (in my experience).

I've never seen a web-page pin itself into the Tabs bar.

I’ll grab a screen shot when it dies it and it will do it at some point. Following the link above or googling it shows I’m not alone in this. Just as well as I couldn’t work out wtf us going on at first!

Very is nothing. What worries me is when i die if anyone goes through my Amazon purchase history. My wife uses my account for stuff for her friends or customers. I have bought lots of ladies clothing, stockings and skimpy pants. Mini skirts, bras, pop socks and blow up cocks. Incontinent pants of various sizes. Fetish costumes and a couple of dildos as well as lots of manly shit like tools and car, bike parts. If i get judged at the gates ill no be to happy.
