Lost the shed this year as its full with white goods for a friend. Will the bike under a plastic Aldi Tarp covered in ACF50 survive the winter or come out the other end looking like it came out a swamp. It will probably be parked up over grass also.

I did thank about that but he cross my palm with silver.

I've use one of these for the wife's bike inside the garage, with something to just protect it from the wind the bike should be just fine.

Worked OK for mine for years, well it wasn't a tarp as such but an Oxford type bike cover. Keeping a bike nice isn't all about having a lovely garage, it's about putting a little bit of effort in with things like ACF50 etc...It's a motorbike, it'll be fine.

Mine are outside under 2 covers each - I make sure they get used at least once a month.
Both Hondas - I washed and polished the 900 last week its a bit scabby to start with
Its the third winter doing this and they seem ok.
The older one (1995) always starts - needs a few seconds for all cylinders to come on song

To be fair I kept my bikes outside till I moved to a house with a garage 20 years ago. However, I was a 365 day biker back then so storage wasn't so much an issue as long as it wasn't snowing, I was using it. Likewise the bikes condition wasn't absolutely mint as I was using them in the salt etc. At the time I'd use some flavour of waterproof bike cover, they'd generally last 1-2 years before I'd need a new one.

Buy another shed

Stack the white goods in a space-efficient manner and make room for the bike by any means possible.

Winter whut??

I have two bikes living outside under Oxford Aquatic covers full time, for the last 8 years. Sometimes I even squirt some ACF50 about but sometimes I forget to. I don't use them but I top the batteries up occasionally, and I drain the fuel tanks. They have suffered a few rusty fastenings, but both fire up and work faithfully each Spring will no apparent ill effects. Both Ducatis, too!

Its away to hibernate for the winter. We get some bad winds out the back so hopefully the hedge will help keep it upright.

As long as you don’t put it away covered in salt it should be fine.

No it got a rinse down but never really been out in salt this year so should be good.
