It's been a good Summer, but it's now fading fast. The remit for this thread is to post pics of happy Summer memories, biking or otherwise. Positive pics that will help you (and others) get through the UK's dull, dreary weather in the coming months.

I can feel the heat of the sun in this one. 8-)

From a quick cash machine stop on a trip this summer.

Parked in the shade on purpose! We were going the other way...

On a ferry, about 27 hours in. Shins got so sun-burned they hurt for a week.

The table hides it.

First time having coffee on the terrace in the garden

Kinda freaky but damn it did make me very happy - terrace faces just past east (towards south) so if I'm up and home, I get to see the sun rise over Les Arcs!! and the sun stays on the terrace till mid afternoon :bblonde: :bblonde:

I didn't move the table at that point because the guys were about to work on the terrace the next day, so didn't change anything !! I need to oil the table next time it's dry for a few days I think ?

Took my grandson for breakfast in his favourite 911, he thinks it's his and just a bigger version of one of his toy cars, I bought him his own ride-on version.
When we go over he goes straight out to it and if we're in one of the other cars he looks at me like WTF, where's my car? :)

A few years back I bought a campervan as a tick on the bucket list as I always wanted to drive one to Spain. Plan was to sell it when we got back but i've kept it, and we use it a lot throughout the year. As my wife says, its our happy place!

My dessert recently. It was a cunningly disguised strawberry, goat cheese and balsamic pavlova. The whole meal was brilliant and good fun, but made very special as I was with the lovely Mrs Gremlin on her birthday.

You may vomit now. ;)

If you look closely you'll see the mountains in the background that you could mistake for clouds.

Also the wife bobbing about.

The last evenings of our summer holiday we go to a more expensive restaurant - my daughter packs a dress for the occasion and for pics on the beach afterwards (for her mates, insta etc.).

She always sneaks a pic of me on the walk back.
