I’m now “residing” in Fruit Central, and the garden has several fruit trees.
I’ve taken to the kitchen in these cooler months and this is today’s offering, a Nobby Orange Cake.
Not quite to @formula400 standards,but it’ll go down well with a cup of tea.

Wish I was close enough to drop by for a cuppa and a bit of cake !! Gotta make my own up here and then give it away cos I can't eat all of it !!!

So, if you're making orange cake, I guess you have orange trees ?? Any marmalade in the planning ??

Two different types of Orange. One eating and one juicing.
Going to try Marmalade this week.
“Bloody Graeme”, my neighbour has an abundance of Lemons and I’ve turned my hand at Lemon Curd ( it’s not like you remember)it’s fantastic, and Lemon Meringue Pie.

With the largest Mango tree in the Southern Hemisphere, it has to be Chutney

I love a homemade lemon curd - you can do they same with oranges if you fancy a change . I don't make it often as it doesn't last that long and I don't eat that much toast ! (well, I leave it in the fridge well past the time 'they' say you should! )

Haven't ever made marmalade or mango chutney Really want to try doing lime marmalade
