Lorries and Trailers.

Here's one for y'all.
On a road I regularly ride there's point when I hang a left at a T junction. The corner is more or less an continuation of the way I'm travelling, rather than a sharp definite turn. I could stay in top gear and just roll on through,to give perspective. The corner is also blind, due to high hedging.
I normally tread a bit warily, because the road's not that wide and farm vehicle coming the opposite direction can be towards the centre of the road.
The other day I entered the corner to find a lorry coming the other way with a 40ft trailer using up a fair bit more than his share. No bother,it happens and I wasn't charging on,just move over. What did catch me by surprise was,the lorry was turning left, hence him being over my side to get a cut for the trailer, but as I passed the end of the trailer swung right over toward me. It was so close I actually took my right hand off the bar because I thought it was about to whack me.
Never too old to have another school day.
