I collected the bike from Ducati Murcia last Friday, then rode it 80km home through mostly mountain roads. I've had a few local trips and yesterday rode it into Alicante for a physio appointment. My first bike for ten years, it's like I never stopped riding, it's exceeded all expectations. The motorway into Alicante probably isn't it's natural habitat but Spain isn't short on awesome roads.

V nice.
Just out of interest, were you into motards/hypermotards when you were two-wheeled before?
As I say, just interested in the choice of bike type on return after a brief hiatus.

This is one in a very long line of previous motorcycles, I did once owned a KTM 990 SM (the original V Twin one), and I've owned a few off roaders for green laning. There was a lot of thought went into the purchase but also Ducati dealers are full of shiney red things and here we are. This might look a bit "off roady", it's not.

I'm currently sitting in dealers whilst the 1000km service is being done.

Get them to stop, your bike is disappearing like Marty McFly

I've put 5k on it in 3 months but I haven't really gelled with the Hyper. The initial use case was for a bike that would go out for a couple of hours then home. I'm actually going out for several hours and the seat is beyond bad, I need something with a slight lean forward to take the pressure off my lower back (an old crash injury), so the Ducati is going.
It's being replaced by one of the most comfy naked bikes I've ever ridden, it's also big, fast and very orange. 1390 Superduke in a couple of weeks (I'm away next week).
