Cleaning car windscreens - inside

I absolutely hate cleaning the inside of a car windscreens - i will leave it to get an equal patina of grease / road film and leave it be, because at least it is not streaky.
But there is a point where a man has to dive in and try and clean it - which i did yesterday. Water / Isopropyl/ washing up liquid.
Microfibre cloth on, microfibre cloth to dry / polish
It is now as streaky as fuck …
Please suggest the solution before I go all “Docca” and used superglue !

Streaks are dirt, so it's still dirty! Clean it again. And again if needed.
Many polishes and waxes linger on cloths, they're designed to be water resistant and long lasting after all, so you could just be spreading stuff around. I often find kitchen towel is better for this sort of thing.
Alternative option is buy an Aerial Atom.

White vinegar with water.
+ scrunched up newspaper for the cleaning/buffing - was the home scrimpers choice for windows when I was in short pants. (Still works

).

I'd have to actually go out of my way to buy a newspaper to do that ^

No longer the scrimper's choice.
I wonder if old Amazon Prime packaging works the same.

I use Mr Muscle window cleaner. Wipe with one microfibre cloth and buff up with another. In cars I sit in the drivers side and reach to passenger side then the passenger seat and reach to the drivers side.

I tend to find it easier to stand outside the car doing it, so you're sort of infront of the windscreen looking through the glass at the cloth.

I let a man who's first language isn't English do it after he's washed the rest of the car.

Has anyone tried dilute TFR (Traffic Film Remover)? It's supposed to do a number on external paintwork (just don't leave it on too long)

I can highly recommend Toraysee cloths. They're microfibre, but like micro microfibre. Fuck me they're expensive though! Fortunately I still have a free one.
