2020 Suzuki GSX-S1000F

Post by mboy »

Selling my 2020 Suzuki GSX-S1000F... I am the 2nd owner. Some key points...

Image

-2020 GSX-S1000F in Black
-Just over 16k miles (valve service done @ 15k)
-Good condition Michelin Road 5 tyres (55 profile rear instead of stock 50 to aid turn in speed)
-Recent new DID X-Ring chain and sprockets (-1T front for better acceleration)
-Oxford heated grips
-Translogic Quickshifter (cost me £449, but well worth it)
-SBS sintered brake pads fitted recently
-Oil change service carried out prior to sale.

I bought this in August 2023 with 14k on the clock. Rode it loads in the first 2 months, got it to 15k and then got the all important valve clearance service done... Since then it has been ridden very little, life and a house move has got in the way. In fact, it hasn't moved an inch since it got back from its MOT earlier this year! I have come to the realisation that I prefer V-Twins and Adventure bikes over IL4's and Sports Tourers, so good a bike as it is, it has to go...

Fitted with a Translogic Quickshifter recently at a cost of £449 (this thing is epic and the best QS on the market, it really transforms the bike under acceleration!). Also has Oxford heated grips, bar risers and a side stand foot pad fitted too.

Cosmetically the bike isn't A1, mostly just a bit of paint damage on the rims from use and minor evidence of corrosion to a few fittings (first owner commuted on the bike). Being picky, I'd repaint the wheels and replace a few bolts and it would look as good as new again. No damage to any of the body work, and mechanically the bike is spot on...

For anybody interested, I also have a Nitron R2 shock with remote reservoir and remote preload adjuster for sale to go with this bike too (not currently fitted) worth over £900 that I'm asking £500 for and has done less than 1000 miles...

Based in Worcester UK... More pics available on request.

Realised I never put a price on this at the time...

Was advertised elsewhere for £5.5k... Now dropped to £5,250...

£5k will take it as I've had a trade offer of £4800 and it needs to go sooner than later.

That quickshifter upgrade sounds awesome, and those heated grips are a lifesaver in winter. If the miles are accurate and the bike’s been serviced regularly, it seems like a solid buy for anyone looking for a smooth sport-touring ride.
