WEll it's nearly Easter, so what have you got going on.

Fri. Pack van, then pack more, a little more.... then drive to South Wales for setup of van, gazebo, tents etc.
Sat. Race practice, National DH series, so first major of the year. Then beers
Sun. Race day.... then more beers Then drive home and work out how the fook to sort the van

I'm currently in hospital following hand surgery, it hasn't gone as well as I hoped. I should be out of here today then a weekend doing not much.

Today is a day off, sadly no sunbathing as I'll be up in resort this afternoon for physio and talking to a few people about work n stuff. Before that, some more admin - trying to get someone to help me get a council apartment then meeting someone to see about an apartment for the summer!!

Tomorrow - working (won't know until much later what I'm doing)

Sunday - as Saturday


So, just hoping to finish relatively early each afternoon so I can do some sunbathing!!

Quiet one this weekend.

Gremlinette has reverted to eight years old and requested an Easter Egg Hunt for next Friday when we have a few people around for a big lunch. Being a curling parent* I agreed and whilst WFH I will try to find a dozen or so good hiding places and write rhyming cryptic clues that they can all try to decipher and stuff their faces with chocolate.

Saturday I'll be up and out to the gym, come back and run the jet wash over the back patio. 3pm meet up with some fine gentlemen to sit in a pub garden and talk complete bollocks for a couple of hours.

Sunday, probably a long dog walk and some housework, such is the rock 'n' roll lifestyle I lead.




*A Swedish expression, that was leveled at me a while ago, which indicates that I am the curling broom sweeper, working frantically to ensure the smooth passage of the stone, i.e. the child, whilst they do very little. I kinda like it and unfortunately identify quite heavily with it.

Moving on from losing our dog to old age this week... heartbreaking process.

Continuing with the build of the office in the garden.

Might get out for a bike ride to the coast.

Going out for drinks with some other young upscale professionals tonight. Hopefully town will be rich in PAWG and MILF.

Last rest day today, so jet washing the patio or out on the bike??
Working all weekend as M1 Junction 18 southbound is closed, which will mean queues, angry customers, breakdowns, accidents and car fires! Can’t wait

Today: in town. I’m on call over the weekend so won’t be going to the pub.

Eldest coming back from uni. He probably will be going to the pub.

Weekend itself will be a mix of walks and garden stuff with a mtb ride at some point.

The current dose of great weather is to end on Saturday night,so I plan plenty of bike action before that.

Friday, I've been sleeping after a rubbish night shift last night. Doozy of a fault which took a lot of time to get to the bottom of and eventually turned out to be a massive fluke series of events. Back in tonight hoping for a quieter night.

Saturday, sleeping and then fitting new front pads to the ZH2.
Sunday, MTB, dog walks, roast dinner and beers.

This could all be thrown out if my Dad takes a turn for the worse in hospital in which case it'll be a long ride to Devon and Cornwall.

Currently in Frankfurt on a city break. So trying to avoid immigrant gangs at night and enjoy Germany things in the daytime. According to one sign it was 22 degrees today and tomorrow will be even hotter!
