To follow on from the introduction section, this is an overview of what we do and our services.. you see one lot of boards dealers offering "forum discounts" I myself am guilty of this... but in reality most are members of lots of different forums and everyone gets the same discount.. I do this because I love bikes and racing.. I still have very lucrative engineering contracts, that I can bore my brain to death with if I want to squeeze every penny out of my working life, so I'm happy to sort people out and give good deals, whenever I can, its always a bit of give and take
So what we generally focus on at TBR is sportsbikes, hypersports whatever you want to call them, race bikes and road bikes and making them go faster. We're not into turbos or drag rcing or that kind of thing, we're heavily into road/track racing, so primarily normally aspirated bikes, be it IL4s vtwins, v4s etc, motocross bikes and off road also not a problem, but nothing particularly specialist in the terms of the bikes we deal with
We provide engine tuning, engine building, headwork (currently sub contracted out as there are way better porters out there than me and Ant) dyno testing etc.. we also do all normal bike garage servicing and repairs, fault finding.. supply and fit tyres.. currently do not do MOT's as simply don't have the space. I'm an electrical engineer of around 15 yrs now, design and on the tools, So electrical fault finding is a bit of a speciality we can help with. I'm not promising anything though, electrical fault finding is hard sometimes whoever you are!

Anthony is an ex mclaren race department engine builder.. so he gets dibs in that area, but we both build engines, for refresh or improvement
A big part of my own work here, is Suspension servicing, tuning and so on and so forth, We're an authorised ktech service centre as well as mupo and bitubo, and are dealers for Ohlins, Nitron, YSS and hyperpro.. we can service all these brands, but are not an "official ohlins centre" for example... so all your suspension wants and needs are covered
I became a car and bike mechanic after leaving school, then did a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, then did an electrical engineering apprenticeship, then did an hnd in engineering and control systems, which eventually ended up with me becoming senior controls engineer at GEA some 12 yrs later, weirdly this then lead back to motor vehicle, as controls engineering is the very basis of suspension design and tuning, and gave me an easy door into the world, which is what first lead me to open TBR as a professional business.
As of this season we are the official suspension support for Bemsee race club as well, which was a nice reward after unofficially supporting various people in the paddock over the past few yrs (and winning their championships to boot

For ecu/fuelling tuning, we can work with all the piggy back modules and we use woolich or ecu tune for flashing, we have a dynapro dyno, and recently upgraded our dyno room
We supply performance parts.. we do also have suppliers for aesthetic parts, but its not really our thing. But parts that are lighter, help with ergonomics, parts to get more power, braking parts and pretty much all the suspension manufacturers I can think off right now, are available
We test virtually everything we sell at some point in some way or another, not always of course, but particularly things like brake pads, I've tried almost all I can think of.. we test brake calipers for flex, all the different master cylinder we've used on track or had some much faster riders test for us. I will always advise you as to what I think is best for you, I'm fully aware that not everyone needs or wants a £500 master cylinder, and I will generally steer people away from over doing things unless it will be worth it in the long run. A lot of the time whats fitted on the bike already just needs using differently or optimising
Hopefully that wasn't too much waffle, in short if you have technical issues we can help, and if you want parts or tuning, we can help with that too

Best way to get in contact really is through our Facebook page, but I'll check up on here for messages too
