I always have my drivers license in my wallet, however pretty much every recent mobile phone has the facility to display emergency contact and medical details without unlocking. You just need to fill them in (and hope any crash doesn't snap your phone).

Tattoo? Be less painful to get a MedicAlert bracelet or buy something and get it engraved.
They'd have the bike registration too.
However, my driving licence, RAC card etc is in my wallet and my CCs have my name on.
Hoss will now more about procedures.

Driving license should be enough.

We'll (UK) be able to have our driving licences on our phones sometime this year, too.

It'd be a nightmare to find. And many phones are locked

Yeah, I know - the emergency contact stuff is enough. It just popped into my memory that digital driving licences are due here this year.

I have a medical alert info wristband, but only used it relatively recently.
Blood group? Probably no need to display it. In an emergency:
https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/universal_donor
Longer-term, if you need matched blood, they'll check.
Next of kin. You could put 'ICE' info on the lock screen of your phone.
How do I set up ICE information on an Android Phone?
Open Settings and select Safety and emergency.
Select “Medical info” to add any medical information about yourself, which you think might be important to know by people who give you a treatment. Enable “Show on Lock screen”.
Select “Emergency contacts” to add people who can help you in an emergency. Tap on Add emergency contact, this will display all your Contacts, select the one you need. You can add more people if you wish. Enable “Show on Lock screen”.

I carry my driving license sometimes, other times I don't.
I always have my phone on me, which has an emergency contact and all of my current meds listed, and is available to anyone regardless of the phone being locked or not.

My phone and credit cards, the big number plate on the back of the bike is a pretty good clue as to who might be riding it.

All this tech stuff is shite.
A few years ago Pen came home with the idea of buying this USB stick which carried your personal details.
If you had an accident, folk just needed to put the USB in their laptop.
When's the last time you saw anybody out in the wild carrying a laptop?
Simple round the neck info thing works.
Or someone having to try to find shit on your phone? Bollox.
This works. Justcarry info round your neck
No need to fuck things up

It's one button, on your lock screen, if an ambo driver can't find it I don't reckon they're qualified to keep me alive as it ain't rocket surgery.
There is always the potential for the phone to be broken into a million bits in any off I'll grant ya, but I'll take the risk as I reckon gthe odds are slim unless you're the type to mount your phone on the handle bars

Honestly, coming from someone who has dealt with more serious and fatal collisions than I care to remember, please carry some sort of ID or contact details.
It saves so much time and worry for the police and subsequently family members. I've spent hours trying to determine whether the person injured/ deceased is the owner of the vehicle (it's quite often not the owner) and who needs to be told. When you spend this time trying to do this, when someone is in critical condition, it can mean that the relatives don't get to see their loved ones until they've passed away.
I've also had to use family members to identify the person to make sure it's them. Which is fine when it is, but we've had it in the past that the family member placed under a huge amount of stress doing the ID when it turns out not to be them. Meanwhile, the real relatives are waiting for them to come home. It's a horrible time.
