He was banned for 7 days. I let him back on after 5 but don't know whether he knows that or not
Motorbikes, Sportsbikes, Adventure bike, Supermotos, banter, chat, friends and whatever else you can imagine. KTM, Ducati, Aprilia, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Laverda

This is somewhat true... but as they're playing within the rules that's not worthy of a ban. He could walk away at any time, but he chooses to throw out the personal insults.. Which results in a ban. I don't administer the rules unfairly here, if people throw out insults they get a warning, then a 24 hour, then 3 days, then it goes up and up.. I'm not sure what else i can do.ogri wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2025 5:30 am Tbh too many people seem to enjoy goading him into getting the ban-hammer.
Used to enjoy his olde style posts, shame what life does to some of us :/
Yeah - I've met him a few times, albeit some years ago now, so more than anything, I'm a touch concerned about his posting style on here.Sunny wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2025 8:37 am Oops.
I wasn't goading him, honest, I've met him irl (a while back now tbf) and got on with him fine.
Lot of truth in the saying "it's not what you say that I remember you for, it's how you made me feel" A little soft, I know, but if your posts just annoy and wind people up they're not going to listen or engage. You're synonymous with causing irritation and anger, not dialogue. Neither was I, in case you’re wondering. Just suggested he re-read the OP, which had explained what was needed.Sunny wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2025 8:37 am Oops.

Yep, emotive response plays a much larger part on our memories than we think.Buckaroo wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2025 10:04 amLot of truth in the saying "it's not what you say that I remember you for, it's how you made me feel" A little soft, I know, but if your posts just annoy and wind people up they're not going to listen or engage.
