Buys a shiny new bike........lobs it on a gravelled corner at night
Gets it all fixed up, then this............
Fucker drove straight off as well. Luckily he always records his trips, otherwise he'd have been stuffed.

A vanny goon!
Iirc a taxi did something similar to me about 25 years ago and it was a sod to sort. The footage should make it much easier. I hope he's ok.

That's shit.
From the camera view in the vid,I can't see the van's mirrors,so chances are the driver didn't see the bike. He could help his own luck from now on.
Driving off is a cunt's trick and I hope he gets reamed.

He's 20, so far he's lobbed a KTM in Switzerland, and the 660 twice now.
I've told him about the bucket of luck Vs the bucket of experience.
Unfortunately his luck bucket is emptying quicker than the other is filling!

I think the van driver knew the bike was there. Van stopped when he had no need to and appears to have deliberately rammed the bike. The snipped video makes me think there's more to the incident than we have all been told. Not condoning the van driver btw, more that I don't think bad luck plays as much of a part as human attitude.

Looking at the video up there ^^ , I’m inclined to agree with @beancounter - that looks like a ‘revenge attack’, and I wonder what led up to it. His own video record may show…tho it may be edited.
And - judging by his accident record so far, I’d disagree with the title of the thread. I think he’s been very lucky so far - crashed all these bikes in what seems to be a short time (how many are single-vehicle crashes? It wasn’t the gravel’s fault), and he’s not dead/badly hurt - yet. Get another bike and crash it too. He needs to have a good think.

Same thing happened to me once in a petrol station on a bike that had less than 60 miles on the clock. Gutted. I screamed like a banshee for a full minute at the young man who had got out of his truck before noticing that he was saying something. "I'm deaf!". That's stopped me in my tracks for .5 of a second before I started screaming "But you're not f***ing blind though, are you?".
His father paid up without going through insurance.

Yup driver did that to me reversing into a passing place on a single track road after meeting on coming traffic, luckily no damage to me or the bike just her bumper & plate - claimed I'd zoomed up behind her but I'd been following her down the hill on the single track lane for about 1/2 mile & without reverse gear wasn't able to get out of her way.
OP - any info on what preceded the van reversing?
