Local scuttlebutt has it that local (well closest) Plymouth Triumph and HD dealer has gone bust. :cry:

Seems Pidcock's have gone into administration, all 3 shops Triumph, Ducati, BMW

My local Yamaha dealer has gone bust too, Paddock Motorcycles in Congleton. They're dropping like flies at the moment, doesn't bode well for the industry at all.

20 k plus bikes
Showrooms that are expensive
Rubbish staff
And a huge amount having to be tied up in stock - all at a time when yoof are not motorbiking.

Obviously the manufacturers are not supporting bike dealers. When all the dealers are gone we will have nowhere to buy bikes.

There's a lot in all of that. I'm always surprised how Fowlups stay in business. Whenever I've been in to look at bikes or gear it's been virtually impossible to get anyone to talk to me.

But then I guess it's reasonable - I'm only a girl so couldn't possibly be 'that' interested!!
