They reckon £5k.

It's got the same engine as the Voge 300 Rally, which is £3799.

It's still cheaper than the Honda CRF300 at £5829.

It's better looking than the Voge, imho, but I'm not sure it's £1200 better looking?

Can't see them selling at 5k, seat height is still ridiculous for most beginner off roaders who are sub 5'9 too.

Improvements look to be graphics and TFT dash, exhaust is lower than the voge too

Looks great.

I'd expect it to be a bit more premium than the Voge - one of my nephews has the Rieju with the Yamaha 125 engine and it's a very capable trail bike.

Err hello, you don't think adventure bikes go off road do you? It is all about the 'look'.

Pish. These aren't adventure bikes and if you think any bike must allow you to get both feet on the ground don't even think about riding trials or trails bikes.

Ironically trials bikes are the one type I can consistently expect to be able to get both feet down on.

Think I prefer the Voge, nice in blue and white aswel. 3.5k. Just looking and all colours nice.

Fair point. I shouldn't have said trials, they're suitable for the shorter rider....even though putting yer foot down would be penalised (unless things have changed a bit).

(I was actually thinking about things like the Yamaha WR type bikes).

For me on adventure bikes it’s less about getting my toe down (happy on a bike as long as I can get toes down on one side!!) but most I can’t actually get on and get the bike upright. Would probably love riding one but as I can’t actually get it upright, not gonna find out out. I’m a smidge under 5’8

(Ok, the one I tried was StickySideDown’s, so it was a bigger version but still!!)

I'm just less than 5'7" and so don't expect to get both feet flat on the ground on anything but it would be nice when coming to an unexpected stop to be able to pick a side and get 1 foot down before the weight is too far over to stop the momentum.

I guess a lot of it is a lack of skill on my part but these bikes will probably appeal to beginner off roaders like me.

I'd really, really recommend doing something like this...

...in order to develop the skills and, probably more important, the confidence for riding tall bikes. They used to do it as a sort of road show and run a week in different places. I went twice to a place down in Sussex. The tutor (Barry) was a few inches shorter than me (I'm about 5' 9" but may have been taller then ). Narrow seats help a lot because it's easier to slide left or right and get a foot down. Honestly, never looked at a bike again thinking 'that's way too tall'.

I think Bubble (used to be on Visordown) was there on one day and she was decidedly petite. (Used to ride a 'Nuclear Pink?' Triumph and could just about get a tip-toe down).

I fell off once....which taught me that using the front brake on wet grass was a no-no.

I always knew this was an issue for me (thought I had long legs till I started riding a bike!) but then I borrowed a mates ZX12r for a quick trip to Bristol to pick up a part for my ZZR600 and so so nearly dropped it at some lights in Bristol where the camber on the left side went down a lot more than I expected and it was also a downhill slope!!

From that day I never put my left foot down for a stop on a road I didn't know very Very well! I always put my right foot down and got pretty good at doing hill starts off the front brake because often I couldn't do the 'shuffle' and swap feet as most do!

Over here I've not noticed a major camber at most places I stop, but now I do tend to put my left foot down cos 'usually' I'd expect the camber to go to the right!

I'm gonna get very confused when I come back to the uk and go riding!!

Looks really good, lighter than CRF,a bit more power than CRF, adjustable suspension, stainless exhaust I read somewhere, and cheaper. Probably not as reliable? But that remains to be seen, the voge engines seem to be reliable so far from what I've read.

Use a very brief countersteer and release just as you nip in the clutch to get the bike leaning and that foot down.

Many riders just wobble to halt, with the bike leaning whichever way the last wobble went. Or wave a leg around and use that weight to make fall over / lean.
