We use Heinz Tommy sauce in squeezy bottles

To be fair I like all of them on chips, Tommy sauce, mayo, gravy. Salt and vinegar always. Sometimes raw onion with fat chips

This time though, being in a hurry, I accidentally picked up the AK47 of condiments.

Get this stuff. Its in a jar type bottle! I don't like tomato ketchup as its too sweet, but I like this stuff!

I will look for it in Sano's but if they don't have it, I am not going out of my way.

It is well worth saucing (sic) some, it is very good

I've been in pubs and restaurants recently that have Heinz vinegar, which is just wrong. Sarsons or nuffink!

I was trying to explain this to a French I was talking to - I failed!!

The Fronch do NOT understand vinegar on chips, or that I do not mean vinagrette

I learnt to love Mayo on chips when my BDad took us to Belgium and Holland when I was about 7 or 8 !!! Still like ketchup sometimes but the french mayo with dijon mustard wins hands down

Didn't they take all the expensive ingredients out of that and replace them with sugar? Certainly seemed to do that with HP - but Daddies was sweeter/less tangy to start with. Neither of them seem to be what they were.

Might not be as good as they used to be, but either one is preferable to any variety of tomato sauce
