I'll add Vauxhall's adblue warnings to that. Every 30 seconds or so it warns me that starting will be impossible as it counts down the kilometres from 1500km. Using the satnav? Tough, you need to have the warning screen again and again and again.....

My trainee, we were doing a task that is a little unusual last night, it’s not the first time he’s done it but on Friday night we went through it and the process involved. He had drawn up a little aid memoir script and looked like he knew what to do, Saturday night the “client” rang up to start the process. Bearing in mind he’s 10 months into training, should be able to do this with no intervention and only slight guidance by this point and I’m trying to not crowd him by listening into the call (He can see this on his phone) or looming behind him).

Phone rings and he just listened to what he was told , no questioning or leading the call, keeping the process to its logical safe order and departed from the script, going well off piste and forgetting the whole lead the call/safe process part of our job. Utter clusterfuck , no one was harmed but the whole thing was a complete “car crash”. I don’t know what to do with him now as I can’t trust him.

You're buying the wrong printer. I've just checked my Amazon order history:
HP Laserjet 1020 14ppm A4 Black and White Laser Printer
View order details: Ordered on 16 March 2006
It's still going strong.

I only got rid of my laser printer because the drivers got harder and harder to install with different Windows versions.
I now have a tank inkjet that has been fine for a few years even if not used for several months at a time.

People still print stuff?

The last thing I printed was a boarding pass, but even those have been done via app for the last few years.

I needed it last week to print a DVLA form that wasn't possible to do online and not available from Post Offices any more, it also had to be accompanied by a cheque in the post.

Never had an issue with a laser.

Always have issues with ink jets.

Mine doesn't. I used to use it at least once a week but now it's probably more like once or twice a year. It works fine.

I bought it because I got fed up of inkjet printers clogging up and failing. That, and I don't really need to print in colour.

I do know, in theory, that the chilli 'stuff' stays on yr hands for ages. But I've had much to do with chillies as don't eat stuff with them in!!

Today I made Quince & Chilli Chutney

Both my eyes are stinging and I've washed my hands sooooo many times already :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

Non techie types :(

Been out all day and tried the laptop.

Said it was locked as too many login attempts. Hmmm.

Asked the missus if she'd tried to access my account.

Nope ! But did give the keyboard a right good clean as it was filthy

Sainsbury's own brand squeezy tomato ketchup. Such excessive force is needed to initiate the squirt that it blasts food off the plate but its accuracy isn't good enough to use as a weapon.

The bellends who push the button on a pedestrian crossing and then realise there's no traffic and cross, making me stop for nothing, I see it a lot in our village. 🤬

I will look for it in Sano's but if they don't have it, I am not going out of my way.
