I think it's the size of attachments - I always seem to be able to send stuff on gmail (it's generally pdfs) but not always on noggin.com :( :(

No thanks, I killed off DB many years ago and have no desire to create an account to read it.

Whichever internet services provider or domain management provider, you use to manage noggin.com will have limits set within the email management software. Probably for both amount of, and size of, outgoings attachments.

If you add the pdfs to you Gmail documents storage , via docs.google.com (iirc), then you can attach links to the email message sent from Gmail, rather than attachments, which will bypass the restrictions.

Probably need to check that out !! Cos it does annoy me

Over here I often have to send pics of stuff, front and back, and whilst I have some that are converted small, this time was stuff I'd not sent to anyone before !!!

I didn't do anything but attach the pdfs from my desktop to the email - but they were all pdfs (which I thought were smaller than normal files?) but gmail dealt with it fine.

Need to work out the limits on the management for noggin.com !!!

@Noggin, not 100% sure how WeTransfer works, but where we have an email size limit, it works for large files as an option, I guess like the sharing files way but you don't need an account, give it a go! C

Standard webmail accounts on most cheap hosting will have a 25MB email outgoing limit.

Our Office 365 accounts will bounce anything over 25MB coming in too.

Lounge seats on ferries.
They make you either rent a cabin or have one of these medieval torture devices, so essentially a flea pit or the rack!
Who TF designed them. They don't go back far enough, no leg supports and really high armrests which resist you turning sideways.
Something as simple as leg support would make them more comfortable and fit for purpose.

Spending £620 on an uprated steering wheel that only requires "simple coding" to make work.....

Then after a lot of faffing, realising that the radar needs to be hacked, it's not simple, there's only about 3 people in the country capable of doing it and it costs £650 + vat

They are designed to make you book a cabin. So I always do.

Stupidly ramped up postage&packing charges.

Found a bit for the JAPton the other day, small item, £20 from a UK supplier.
Go through PayPal to pay and attach delivery information, and it's only AFTER the full PayPal confirmation etc has gone through that they attach the packaging cost... £23!

Twenty three fucking quid for a bit of bubble wrap and brown paper??

I was in a hurry and these things aren't easy to find, so I didn't cancel it, but certainly considered it. I've not seen such blatant profiteering for a while.....

Got screwed around by direct ferries so had to grab first ferry available. Discovered on arrival that 2 schools were on board hence the lack of cabins.

Ya wants to try living in N.I. Some outlets just think of a number. Fortunately, there are usually others to choose from. Some folk actually wanted to know what the time difference was between the South of England Northern Ireland.

I messaged a forces charity thingy (SSAFA) with a request for help - an ex forces mate is talking to me about stuff that has caused a late onset PTSD and I needed to ask someone if I'm responding right and how to help him more

Obviously I used my now legal name in my message through their website.

The man who mailed me and then called me tonight said "I sent the email to "original name" because that is who you are"

Apparently he'd googled my now name and so I did the same - there is ONE mention of the original name but because that sounds more like a "real/normal" name he decided that that is who I am or should be !!!

Cheeky fucker !! :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

I've used my current name for over 20 years and it's been my legal name for 9 years !! Bloody people thinking they can just use a different name because they saw it on the internet :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

Same (ish) for me this afternoon - front felt heavy taking the bike off the stand, it's got a nail in it...

Second time this year! In fairness that's twice for road bikes/cars ever so, well, can't really complain.

The joke response to that question is "about two decades". I'll leave you to decide who is behind and who is ahead. :D
