I notice a lot of the comp companies have moved to instant win comps. A main prize but plenty of instant wins like below. Different I suppose, but it must work a lot of them are doing it.
I doubt they bothered getting gambling licenses, I guess they found another loophole.

I briefly looked at buying one, the bulkhead behind the rear seats makes it unusable as a van. That's why I have a VW Kombi, no bulkhead, the rear seat folds and can be removed (it weighs around 100kg so not something I do often, I have done it a couple of times though) and I get the full load space. The standard MSRT has 168hp, my Kombi is the 204hp. Mine is the T32, so bigger wheels, brakes and different suspension over a standard Transporter, so I suspose it's a match for anything done to the Transit to produce the MSRT. Mine also has Bilsteins all round.

Lambo? Pfft.
Working vehicles in Italy....

(It's Lambo's 60th anniversary, so I suspect this was a promo vehicle lent to Bologna airport to use as their 'Follow Me' car and to give the tourists something to smile about. The driver was more than happy to wave and smile for the camera)

I had the LWB Custom combi and the bulkhead left 6' of load space, fine most of the time but at others frustrating as I can get longer loads in my car.
The Sport version was all bling with no performance upgrades at all.

That would also look good on a flatbed outside your house.

The prices of supercars baffles me at the best of times. GT3 is apaprently worth bundles, this one has a £165k cash alternative, but its
just another 911 to me. I'd probably refer a more civilised model tbh...

That looks awful, it's like a parody of the A-Team van.
I saw a new Defender yesterday, well I see them every day there are millions of them here, but this one was particularly nice, all black, tan leather interior, not trying too hard but looked really well finished and nice. But, if you're going to have a black Defender then I still think my Puma one looks better, and if I was spending the sort of money that new ones cost then I'd have a Range Rover.
The purists hate them as they are better off road than the older ones despite claims to the contrary, in (almost) every test these win. Better road car to boot. But to me they look like a Suzuki Vitara!

What the old Defender was good at was rutted tracks, apart from that IIRC they didn't even come with a locking centre diff.

The old Defender is abominable off-road, truly awful, my Nissan 4x4 is like driving a magic carpet off-road compared to my Defender.
Anyone arguing that the old one is better off-road than the new one is talking cobblers, the pre-Td5 ones are easier to fix with limited tools, but definitely not more comfortable on any terrain.
I was pretty underwhelmed by its looks, like I said, i thought it was a new Vitara! But I was pleased to see LR had remained loyal to its roots and still given it a (very good) off road ability!

It'd be fucking stupid if a (pretty much) brand new car was significantly worse off road than a 60 year old design!
Car companies do plenty of stupid stuff though, I grant you

Many are guilty of fashion over function. I just hoped LR wouldn't be. I think it'd have been the death knell for the company if they had though.
