"Look what you could do" innit.....not misrepresentation is it? Even if some of it would be a pretty terrible idea.
I suppose you could demolish the beauty salon. :D

TBH, the way it's apparently attached to the house looks more AI than the AI picture.

(Is this sort of image manipulation really AI? :hmmm: It just seems like Photoshop with added oomph).

I've seen a few of these enhancements recently and they usually seem to show both versions. It's as if they charge extra so have to use it even when the enhanced version looks worse.

I'm not sure how but vaguely recall when it started (mostly yesterday but I think it really started a few weeks ago ! ) , but I seem to have lost all my patience for the utter cuddly wuddlies that are other drivers out there !!! And also, seriously, how do some humans actually survive??

On the first, I managed to avoid a number of cars today with hard stops simply because they

1- don't see a large vehicle and think "ooo, best give them a bit more room/stop here to let them complete that turn (WTF would you NOT give a bigger vehicle more space, even if you have to stop ?? ) and

2) haven't read the highway code to find that priority driving up a mountain is NOT a given !! It depends on the size of the vehicle you are driving up and the size of the vehicle driving down ! But, you'd have thought that was just fing obvious when faced with a 19t vehicle in a corner - just fucking stop you cuddly bastard !!

At one point today, on a turn with limited visibility but not a hairpin, I was going slowly cos I know it's one that I need to take a bit more space than is only my side of the road & people drive fast into, luckily. I stopped hard halfway through, cos I'd seen the first of three cars long enough to do so, which in my book means that, given they are going UP, they can stop a damn site faster being a LOT lighter and having gravity (or something) to help, yes ???

NOPE - the fucking arseholes ALL continued and squeezed by the bus (TBF, when I realised they weren't gonna stop for me I made sure it was a squeeze - zero contact but not a simple pass, but by the time they did, I was stationary :angelic-green: :angelic-green: ) - the fourth car did stop far enough down for me to be able to complete the turn and give him a friendly wave (I may have blown a kiss too :angelic-green: ). But seriously ??? I know a lot of my colleagues drive faster than me - how the FUCK are there not more accidents ???

On the survival thing - well, soooooo many things, but the last and most annoying was turning into the last bus stop I go to before turning round for the last run of the day; it's off to the right so I have to use the left side of the road to be able to turn in as it's basically a mini roundabout off the road that we turn around to go back. The 10m is pretty simple on this, but the 13m needs all the space. There's a lot of space to turn if the passengers waiting move back off the obvious bit of ground that the bus turns on (obviously well used by the buses).

When I got there I was a few minutes before the bus for Les Arcs (which is the last one of the day) and there were probably 25+ people waiting, over ALL the space I need, not just the edge, the whole turning area   So I waved my arm to suggest they all move back which some did, a bit. But an awful lot didn't and I had to get almost close enough to touch (at WAYYYYYYYYY less than walking pace) before the worst culprits actually moved !!! To the point that a lady stood way back was standing behind them just shaking her head at them - at least she made me laugh !!! :obscene-drinkingcheers:

I do love the driving side of my job, just sometimes struggle with the human side :angelic-green: :angelic-green: :angelic-green: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :obscene-birdiedoublered: :obscene-birdiedoublered: :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Facebook Marketplace Fuckwits…

Arranged to pick up and buy an empty Calor Patio gas bottle via messenger last night with an agreed pick up time this evening. I arrived at the agreed time, cash in hand. Rang door bell twice, knocked and waited, no answer.

Sent message announcing my arrival, no response some two hours later.

Where i had the opposite tonight. Same, Facebook Marketplace and was kind of expecting to get bumped at it was just a £10 bottle jack and he had to leave his house and drive to his lockup. He turned up apologising for being late as he had to chase down a courier. TBH i never noticed as i was 5 minutes late anyway. Bottle jack was as described, Never used.

Mrs, Gremlin's brother...

Before I commence my piss boiling story, I will explain that he's a bit of a waster who at 54 years of age, lives with his dad, my father-in-law, who is 78 years old for a paltry monthly rent of £250 all-in.

F-I-L, Mrs. G's sister and her son are off to Greece for a bit of sun and R&R this morning. Taking the train to London Bridge then on to Gatwick. Nice and easy. They do however have three suitcases and a walk down a bit of a steep hill to get to the station. Accordingly, my sister-in-law messages her brother to ask if he could drop them down to the station. Maybe a 4 min drive, tops. He declines, on the basis that they won't all fit in his car. She suggests maybe taking her and the suitcases then returning to collect and drop off the other two. No response.

Mrs. G, always the voice of reason and diplomacy, messages her brother to explain that a 78 year-old shouldn't really be wheeling a big suitcase down a hill and maybe he should give a bit of thought to other people and do a favour. Message read and not replied to.

Mrs. G picked them all up and dropped them off this morning in less than 20 mins all-in.

The irony is Mrs. G gave him and his girlfriend a lift to Stansted, over an hour away the other week. He really is a selfish, immature fuck-knuckle.

I would be educating the knuckle dragger on his next trip away by providing him with links to Uber, train times or airport parking…

In other news, I now have a spare and refilled bottle of patio gas so no fear of part baked dinner tonight

NoNoNo No.

Give him a lift to the airport. Arrange the pick up and return trip.

Then, on the day, while they're in midair, message to say "Sorry, going out for the day." Let them sort it out once they've landed and switched their phones back on.

Say you'll give him a lift to the airport. Arrange pick up and return trip.

On the day they're leaving. 15 mins after you're due to pick them up, message to say "Sorry, going out for the day." Turn your phone off. Let them panic.

No, no, no,

As above, but the message is "Sorry, flat tyre, nothing we can do, hope you have a nice flight!"

Don't give him a reason to make it your fault. (Because he will, without realising the irony)

Ooh, I like that.

You could twist the knife by starting with 'waiting for AA,' (hinting you might get there. If it's raining, tell him to wait outside?) then adding every half hour that you're still waiting.

It's been changed to a white door that opens inwards.

And the little room has been made bigger to accomodate the new door, it may as well have drawn a huge room in a mansion and been almost as realistic.
