Strange! Just said that I'm more than likely using a certain ecu which he thinks won't let him turn it off. Asked him to try anyway when he receives it so hopefully he canweeksy wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:32 amWell that's a bit confusing, i'm sure he did on mine... or maybe because i stayed with a Cat he didn't need to ?jk1994 wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:28 am Sending my ecu off to Wiz shortly but he doesn't think he'll be able to turn off the AIS on my 2019 model. the AIS just sorts the popping and over-run on the negative throttle stuff yeah ?jk1994 wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:49 amStrange! Yeah thats right. I'm not too keen on the popping so wanting that stopped.weeksy wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:51 amthe AIS just sorts the popping and over-run on the negative throttle stuff yeah ?jk1994 wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:49 amStrange! As you can imagine, due to the cold, frost and snow, i've not had a chance to try mine yet... Looking at the forecast i'm hoping to do so next week.
Have you removed yours ? watch the fiddle little clips..
You need to borrow a code reader to clear the errors on startup the first time ?jk1994 wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:56 amYeah thats right. Yeah not surprised. Wish this cold and snow would disappear pronto!
Have only removed the ecu so far. Not gona touch the ais until he's done the flash
Already got one mate, thank you!weeksy wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 8:02 amYou need to borrow a code reader to clear the errors on startup the first time ?jk1994 wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:56 amYeah thats right. 2021-02-10_01-19-52 by Steve Weeks, on FlickrAbsolutely, you've got to experiment, try, test, modify, fiddle etc, otherwise what's the pointSkub wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 2:43 pm Well, sometime the best destinations involve getting lost on the way.![]()
It shortens the Winter/lockdown for sure.
No that's me.
LOL you've been debating an XSR900 since sitting on mineSupermofo wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 4:36 pmNo that's me.
Weeksy would have bought and sold several exhausts whilst in my head I spend the same time or longer thinking about what to do without buying them![]()
Exactly. And a Z900, and a tracer, and a 1090 etc etc
Didn't you tell me years ago you didn't need them as you didn't ride in temps lower than 5C?weeksy wrote: Tue Feb 09, 2021 5:23 pmSo there was the other job on the list too. The fitting of heated grips... As they were only ordered today they're not here yet, but that doesn't mean we can't get ready
Yeah, but as i've got older, the temps in my fingers seem harsher, so 13 deg now even i start getting chilly... So if i don't ride until above that, it basically rules out 90% of riding in the UK. So it's either better gloves or better grips.scottyuk wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 11:12 pmDidn't you tell me years ago you didn't need them as you didn't ride in temps lower than 5C?weeksy wrote: Tue Feb 09, 2021 5:23 pmSo there was the other job on the list too.
