That’s the plate I purchased when I had my Evo, I say purchased, it didn’t exist, I got it made and put up for auction, which I won, the only bid which is what was expected, So it’ll be staying. I knew if I ever sold the Evo (which I did) the plate would still be relevant because it’s my name.

Just done mega enduro tour. Tagged on with my pal and his paying clients. One was good MX racer and other pretty good. They'd never done enduro before, but they could ride. I had better bike and knew the paths and trails so kept up OK.
Knackered. Now I'm recovering to take our guests on a mega 4WD volcano tour.
It's all go

He stopped there coz the next bit was hard and wanted to warn them. Not many places we can all stop together.

They had a good view from the top of this. That path is too scary for me so I take a different route

First ride since the end of November 21. Man,it was good to get out. The roads were dry in places and damp in others, not a day for pushing one's luck. Full heated gear required and very welcome it was.

First ride for a week or two. Cold weather prepped with newly installed gaurds, grips on 5 and gloves on low. Into Wales taking in Bala and Dinas Mawddwy. Stopped in Bala for bacon butty, lovely.

Broke my 2022 duck today, too good an opportunity to let pass with blue skies and double digit temperatures.
Just right with winter gloves, heated grips, heated waistcoat.
Only a short run out for a couple of hours to check the winter mods are working OK.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
I got out for a few hours this afternoon with a couple of mates who I'm doing a Scotland trip with in May.
Quite a few bikes out in West Lancs,we visited the Carousel in Southport, first time I've been there. Most of the flooding from last weekend is in the fields & off the roads, but the quiet back roads had a lot of loose gravel & patches of mud on them so you couldn't get to enthusiastic, but seeing as we're old farts now, over enthusiasm wasn't an issue
Mates were on a BMW & Hyabusa, overkill for the back roads, but we all stayed upright
We're planning doing a few more rides over the next couple of months, just waiting for the weather to improve.

After having such a wet winter we're hoping for a dry spring,no doubt we'll encounter warm rain at some pointSkub wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:58 pmFixed.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 6:50 pm

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Rode up to meet a couple of friends riding from the UK, in Northern Spain last Wednesday, then riding up to one's holiday home France just north of the Pyrenees near Auch. Weather was excellent up until the Spanish side of the Somport Tunnel, then very cloudy once out the otherside into France
Had a few days bimbling around that area, and the weather improved to being sunny and not too cold on Friday and Saturday. Some great views and the road on the Col d'Aspin is brilliantly surfaced (thanks to the Tour de France). Perfect weather, blue skies and none too cold. I set off for home yesterday, using the Saint Lary tunnel, which is way above the snowline. The roads were dry and clear of snow, but it was quite deep either side. And I must remember to wear something other than summer gloves at this time of year.
Now I'm halfway home with another 450 kms to go. Roads and weather both look good so setting off soon.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
It's to be decent weather here this weekend and today isn't bad either, even a good bit of grip out there,so it would be rude not to.
It's funny how the garage gremlins have tuned the bike since last year.
