Today I have driven a VW Crafter based campervan from Cornwall to Durham. it's been a long and rather boring day.

Abarth 595 which makes a lovely noise and if you keep the turbo spinning at decent revs flies along like a go kart on steroids
A neighbour of mine used to leave for work at 6.30. I was pleased as fuck when she got rid of hers

Might have been the 200 bhp competizione version as they are even more rorty on exhaust note as a mate has one. His sounds like a 600 cc sports bike with an akra fitted when he blipped the throttle.
Out of the 2 bikes I have and the Abarth, it’s the quieter one of the 3

Extra points for the shirt (and pool sliders?).

This is apparently the really big "hit" with all the hybrid supercars these days....the fact you can leave silently on pure electric drive! All the torque fill and regen braking a what not is just a bonus

Rode back from my mums in Norwich - first time in a couple of years of any distance - Only complaint on the NC is the seat.
Other than that really enjoyable - great to ride outside London for a change
Have you raised the front of the seat yet? It helps, but its still not a great seat.

Inspired by Noggin's fungus-related thread, I'll share mine. Hope you've all eaten!
This morning I said an unexpected, yet strangely painless, goodbye to the nail from my right-foot little toe.
Long, unpleasant story cut short:
Had a fungal infection in the that nail. Nothing touched it. Went back to pharmacist who recommended Canespro cream. Jeeez, talk about a scorched earth policy. Within a week my toenail had turned to a soft, squishy flap that fell off this morning.
I assume new, healthy nail will grow.
Highly recommended should you have such an affliction.

In the common vernacular it should really be 'Free 'Undred LARRRGE', although 'Free 'Undred BAAAGS' would also suffice. In addition, the sentence should also be finished with phrase, 'Geez'.
HTH.

Probably but there's a question over 'let's'

Wasted precious life moments in a solicitor's office sorting out the latest version of our last will and testament. Boring as,but given the crazy shit both Mrs.Skub and I have been through with our respective families,a decent thing to do to make things easier on the weans.

Painted the loft hatch, sanded down some doors. Just painting a part of the stair case which is taking forever, so just having some water for the moment.

Walked into the garage this to the welcoming stench of gear oil... Five days after the ST came home from a three week vacation at the dealer. I need to get it up on ramps for an oil change so will investigate then. Nothing dripping on the floor, but it has *under-aero* pans, so will drop those. FFS.

Now you've all been talking about these 595 Arbarth thingybobs I keep seeing (and hearing) them. One today with a ground clearance measured in mm in sort of JPS colours was rattling windows in a local village.

Went for a drive up to the midlands in the van and came back with a stablemate for my trusty old orange bike to get jealous of
First outing will be a 110ish mile jaunt with the Jolly Boys in Wiltshire this week-end.
NBT to follow once I get my arse in gear, as there is a bit of fettling to be done before then , and of course there are always adventures off-road
