Dude, you can't resize a simple JPEG and you expect us to believe you can convert to PDF and send an email.

My point is that you have no control whatsoever over how your CV will be presented by the HR person to the decision making person.

You've got to accommodate the entire range of possibilities, from it being printed in black and white at 80dpi(so any photos will be pixelated to buggery), read on a phone screen (so photos will be too small to see properly), to viewed on a projector using a poor resolution (so any photos will be indecipherable blurs).

Like i say, do it in ready to read text and provide links to a gallery.

We went on a dog walk to Cooling on the Thames estuary on Saturday. Walked a circular route from a fairly non-descript pub, so decided to grab a quick drink and a sandwich on our return as it was lunchtime. A 'Fish goujon baguette' rocked in £13.95. Granted it was cooked fresh, proper batter and stuff, but it wasn't exactly hanging off the wooden serving platter (plates seem to have disappeared from restaurants these days) and came with precisely feck-all in terms of sides. No chips, no salad, no crisps... My beef baguette was no less petite and came in at 12.95. Veritable bargain compared to the fish option.

I'm not accusing the bloke in the pub of ripping people off. He has overheads, which I'm sure have rocketed, but it gets to the point where you begrudge going out, such is the cost.

On a similar note, Mrs. G. booked a meal for six of us to go to Colonel Saab, a poncey Indian restaurant just of Trafalgar Square in a couple of weeks. I took a look at the menu, more to see what was on offer, but I couldn't help but notice the prices being a tad on the toppy side. I did suggest we bin it off, but deposit has been paid, plus part of me thinks, 'Stop being such a tight-fisted fecker'.

There were four of us and my mate picked up the tab (top tip: hang back from the bar with the old 'I'll sit over here with the dog' to avoid getting your wallet out ) so with four sarnies, three coffees and a tonic water I think he forked out nigh-on £80.

After longer discussions of WTF mate.... they don't do returns apart from the store you bought it from. I mean fucking REALLY.
And people wonder why the high street is dying when fucking muppets can't even accept sometimes you're not in the town in which you live !!!
