84 & was about to go on tour again a month ago. Starting to think none of these music types have a retirement fund/plan.

A lot of them were financially shafted by management/hangers on. Leonard Cohen was only one example. Bop 'til ya drop for them. I dunno about Lightfoot,or how canny he was with money, maybe he was just addicted to the show, that often lingers regardless of age or remaining ability.

Case in point... hilarious Rolling Stones video of Jagger dancing with the sound track removed & other members of the band looking at him like "You fucking plonker".Skub wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 4:59 pm A lot of them were financially shafted by management/hangers on. No age at all - I wonder how much his heroin addiction played a part in pancreatic cancer. He did seem to get the bum deal of the Morrissey being and arse and Marr being an arse in crime.
Addiction meant he had to settle for the best part of fuck all.

Like Simon LeBon and Bob Geldof , he has a complete inability to dance in time with the beat.Supermofo wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 6:46 pmJagger looks like a bell end full stop.ZRX61 wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 6:11 pmCase in point... hilarious Rolling Stones video of Jagger dancing with the sound track removed & other members of the band looking at him like "You fucking plonker".Skub wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 4:59 pm A lot of them were financially shafted by management/hangers on. Probably none at all unless it was coupled with alcohol abuse.
