Labour will NEVER get my vote!!!
What an unbelievably stupid woman. I wonder what she thinks should be done with 'Isla Bryson' (not his real name).
Lib Dem is not an alternative because Ed Davey is on record as agreeing 100% with Keir Starmer that 99.99% of women do not have penises (therefore 1 in 10,000 women DO have penises).

Neither is Green an alternative because the Green Party's website says:
Trans rights

The Green Party recognises that trans men are men, trans women are women
You (and others) think that gender issues are the only reason to place your vote? May I suggest a) there are quite a lot of other important issues in play at the moment and b) if it bothers you so much erm...have a word with yourself instead of gobbling up the media narrative designed to attract you to this side show.

The Green party also want to redistribute the wealth, they don't care about the environment but at least it's not just a one trick pony.
The trans issue and SKS bouncing on his knees are probably all that separates Tories and Labour.
I'm not seeing these other important issues to influence my choice.

This is not merely a "media narrative", these are political positions. Gender issues are self evidently not the only reason to place a vote, but this issue directly affects over 50% of the UK population..

What is your personal position on this issue?

That it doesn't really affect most voters very much. Not as much as the economy but it helps people to do the - Squirrel! thing instead of keeping the important stuff centre stage. Ah. Rather like you're trying to do.

It affects all women ( >50% of voters) if the Equality Act protected characteristic of sex is applied subject to an assumption than men in frocks are women.

That's enough to sway your vote and that's the only thing that matters at an election?

Oh. OK, if it affects you so much, vote with your conscience. Fine by me.

Oooo, get you!

Personally, no, I don't think that gender issues are the only reason to place my vote. However, when gender issues are brought up by Labour Front Benchers and it exposes their innate stupidity you have to wonder if that would be the best place for your vote. Can they ever develop sensible, workable, costed policies on anything?

Starmer famously bent the knee at the time of the BLM thing and exposed his unsuitability for high office. Luckily these people are in 'safe' Labour seats so will probably get elected by the people you think we are like.

I think you're old enough to be aware of Labour's record in government. It is often boiled down to 'Tax and Spend' with no though of how it is spent.

I've said a few times over the last couple of years (and about 10 days ago) that we have the worst bunch of politicians in Parliament in living memory regardless of what side of the House they sit on. Not one of them will be getting my vote at any time in the forseeable future and that's not because I live in Turkey - I have the right to vote. It's because they don't have the ability to govern the country in their present form. Tossers, the lot of 'em. ;)

This seems very important to you and it's nice that you care what I think, but tbh, I don't think you do, you just want to talk about it because it avoids talking about a few other things. Keep the fluff at the top of the political agenda.

I'm sure you'll ask me again what my personal position is. It helps boing the topic and that's how you roll. Shrug.

You can probably convince me that the Labour, Lib Dem, and Green Parties are not fit to govern. My problem is that the Tory Party have proved, beyond any shadow of doubt, that they aren't either. Where do we go from here?

Ok, feel free to tell us what does impress you about the Parliamentary Labour Party.

I’m a bit baffled these days. I mean they used to be socialist; the party used to feature prominent Jews and now they hate Jews.

So the sex based rights of over 50% of the population are mere "fluff"?

99.99% accurate is about as close as any politician gets to telling the truth. He should be commended. ;)

Blimey, Labour's Keir Starmer/Rachel Reeves plan to grow the UK economy is already working. Good news indeed!
DT wrote: UK economy bounces back into growth

The Office for National Statistics has released its latest figures for the UK economy in August after a contraction in July

Britain’s economy returned to growth in August, official figures show, as businesses recovered from strikes a month earlier and services grew.

Gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.2pc during the month, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Economists had expected a growth of 0.2pc, following a downwardly revised contraction of 0.6pc in July.

It comes after revised ONS figures for the second quarter showed the UK economy performed better than France and Germany since the pandemic.

Statisticians said the British economy is now 1.8pc larger than before Covid, whereas France has grown by 1.7pc since 2020 and Germany 0.2pc.

The gender shit may be looming too large in this here discussion because it is an area where it is believable that Labour will do something different from the Conservatives.
