Time hasn't been kind to her apparently, quite the swamp donkey now! Last I heard she was living in a caravan beside a motorway.

Tempted to accept, tell her how my life has panned out (retired at 54, moved abroad) then block her.
But then again :wtf:
LOL. Wouldn't go anywhere near that. Dunno what you can do actually do with FB requests but my suggestion would be to pour petrol on it and burn it.

Did a couple of hours archery instruction for a class of kids at the local private school as trade for them letting us use their field for a competition.

What a lovely polite attentive group of kids they were (maybe 10-12 years old)

Is it wrong to think that’s what a good school teaches you or could I have gone to the local comp and had the same experience?

When i worked for Group4 i would go to your local Comp to collect the cash made from scamming the kids for dinner money. From what i seen and in the Pans and Tranent the last thing you would have got was the same reception you got at Loretto (Unless there is a closer School)

CT was the palm side, other side was various nerve/tendon repairs & realignments & severing some nerves. Not sure of all the work, but the consent description ran to 8 lines. When I was back in the ER later I had a Doc come find me because he'd seen the consent form & couldn't believe what he was reading.
The bone fix will come later when he works out how to do it without fusing my wrist.

I need to get a better/readable copy of this:

Set off to walk down to where the Monster has wintered - a good hours walk, but down hill. Got about 5 minutes in when a friend called out to me and gave me a lift :D :D Awesome! Downside was that I then had a rucksack of stuff to attach to the pillion seat if we got the bike started!!

Anyway - cup of tea, watch some coronationy stuff, then head out to garage.

That start-you-bastard spray is a freaking miracle!!! Started first time after a decent spray into the air intakes  FAB!!!!

Stu got it out of the garage for me (it's a bit of a steep uphill section to get it out :( I'm a wuss!!), and we went back in for more tea and some more coronation. Saw up until 'God Save the King' and then I rode the bike back home via the fuel station up here (it was full when I parked it up, but it definitely didn't seem full after a winter of evaporation!!!)

She's now parked up in the normal garage - I need to have a bloody good look at the left hand foot peg as it vibrates so much I had to take my foot off it a few times - if anyone has any hints on what might be the issue, all help gratefully received!!

Oh - and don't have luggage on a pillion seat when you have a bad back!!

:obscene-drinkingcheers: :obscene-drinkingcheers:

5 days after the hospital visit & I just found a band aid after I got out of the shower...I'm assuming from the Toradol shot at the ER.

Opened the pool.
Water is bloody freezing (12 degrees!) but the heat pump is getting installed this week so looking forward to 28 degrees water year round.
Also trying out the pool cleaning robot as we speak - seems a bloody good buy to me, saves me another job.
