Been to a funeral. As these things go it was quite a pleasant one but the driving/roads/diversions today have been meh.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Another breakdown at work, and another fix by myself. It’s not in my remit but I’m starting to feel like I should be paid accordingly with how much I save the club.
Anyway found the problem and fixed it but whilst doing tests I came across a fuel cut off solenoid attached to the fuel injection pump which is wired in, turns out the B2150 was supplied from factory with both the electronic solenoid for shutting off the fuel and the manual stop lever which actuates the stop lever on the injection pump.
I quickly whipped it off and tested it and it doesn’t work, I tested for power at the plug and nothing, so when I get a chance I’ll trace it back and test the relay, problem is trying to find the relay, I have no schematic or anything for any of these machines, it’s always done blind, but I always manage in the end up.
The tractor works just fine but I want it working the way it should, I can source a solenoid for about £100 so I’m sure the club can afford that.

Reglazed 3 Velux windows. There was misdesign when they were made about 20 years ago which gave the the possibility of the glass suddenly shattering, one of the four did hence my knowing of it. All sorted with parts supplied by them FOC. I chose to do it myself as they've nobody agents in the area.

Fixed my pellet stove. It's still under warranty so I really should have just called le magasin but French customer service has a justifiably terrible reputation for starting off with words to the effect of "No!" and "what the feck do you want?", so I just bought the (cheap) part off Amazon and did it myself.

No, I managed to start it with the left side kick start. Most bizarre. Needed boots on mind, it's got some reasonable compression.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Yea, my bad. I only had 45min spare and just filled the float bowl with some 32:1 premix I had in a can. Will get a proper video sorted when I'm back from Lanzarote. Only went to pay the balance today and was surprised when he said he'd load it in the van and follow me back there and then.weeksy wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 5:35 pmAnd somehow we don't seem to have a videoderek badger wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 5:30 pmIt is even better in the flesh. Went to see John Wick 4. We had free tickets and there wasn’t much else we fancied.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but we enjoyed it.
Regarding the ‘free’ tickets of course we had to have lunch, then the obligatory popcorn and drinks then the parking.
So the free tickets cost about 60 quid

Some frozen food showed up in a big styrofoam box. There were two 12x12x1in slabs of dry ice in the box, so I threw those in the pool.

Sod all. Well yesterday sod all as its now today
so sod all as it was pissing down and i was to be cutting grass. Tomorrow/today step daughter and her future husband are through to view a house at the end of my street. To fucking close
They want to start a family so probably thinking ahead for a baby sitter. Sod that, ask your mum. Anyway think we are walking down town and eating out before there train home. Sunday get on with the camperbus refit what seems to have stalled the past two weeks.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Had fantastic 4 hour enduro ride.
Bad start as puncture when set off.
Got a new tyre fitted by my pal Friday so suspected he might have nipped it.
He came and it wouldn't inflate at all.
So took wheel to his house and the tube had split alongside the inside seam. He'd partly inflated it, so no way he'd nipped it.
Luckily he'd a spare tube and we were off. Glad to get rid of the original Maxxis tyres. Super grip with the new Michelin
Had some fun
On way home we go through the castle at Teguise to get to some fun bits round the back.
The barrier was down but we squeezed around it.
Then saw 2 cars who'd become trapped behind the barrier.
So we took them back up into the grounds and showed them a dirt track that would take them out to safety.
They were very grateful

Re: What have you done today thread?
The triumph is back in 1 piece and the rough running seems to have been solved. I rerouted the fuel and vacuum pipes, I think the vacuum was pinched before, I'll book it in for an MOT and if all goes well, do the bar swap, although I'm reluctant to have tank off again (will need to replace their cable) as routing the fuel pipes correctly is witchcraft.
