Ducati are owned by Lamborghini int they, which I'd call a pretty feckin strong link! :D Relevant link though? Maybe not

VAG didn't buy Ducati for their stellar ability to build bikes and make profit, that's for sure.

But you don't see many Ducati bikes as homage to the Beetle, or Golf. :D

Kawasaki seemed to style the Z1300 like a ship's anchor. Perhaps based on their boats?

Although ... maybe that LamboDuc took its colour schemes cues from this classic:

Someone is taking the piss.

It's a base model, painted to look like an R and being sold for R money.

A Kosher one for comparison...

The wheels and the forks are a big give away.

But they stopped short of calling it a 'Factory' or an 'R', because it very obviously isn't. Definitely a wannabe, though. And well overpriced.

It's the fact that the poor old, abused thing is cheaply chained to a poor old abused engine as 'security' that bought the tear to my eye. Like anyone would steal it. :( The owner should be publicly flogged until he repents. I hope someone steals it and gives it a viking send off rather than it rotting on the pillock of an owner's drive.

That could be any of us.

Anyway, as the Arab said to his horse: “Thou’rt sold.”

Owned 'from new' but "Frame number not found. Engine number not found... please note our vendor has mislaid the V5C"

Hmm.
