It was a good day out, but narrow roads and lots of traffic reminded me why I don't venture over there too often
Stunning vista.
I nearly always leave the house at unsociable hours just to avoid the traffic, especially at weekends.

I was there last week. Due to lock down there seems to be an influx of people with no clue how to use a single track road, just push forward all the time never mind waiting few moments near a passing place
Yep, they were still there today

I've been to Scotland a number of times on my bikes but normally meet up with people enroute and go up the West of the country. This time I was going up alone and meeting people there. I was going from Essex to about 30 mins North of Aberdeen in one day so I had to use motorways but I'd always wanted to get the traditional picture so I took a small detour through Kielder Forest. I'm glad I did as it broke the journey up well.

It's not a bad road the A68, certainly better than the A1 north of Newcastle. It was a bit damp when I was up there last year
Essex to Aberdeen in one day is a hell of a trip on a bike, I wouldn't be able to walk properly for the rest of the week if I did that

It was wet most of the way down until around Newcastle. Started at 12C and ended at 29C!! Insane day!

On my way to meet up with some mates in Czechia, covered just under 1500 miles since Monday. The Dullville is perfect as comfortable all day, no aches or pains.
Went through Millau yesterday-still amazed by the viaduct after all these years (will ride over it one day). Forgot to put the bike in the photo though (because moron).

Yesterday I went to the bike meet at Eccleston Delph with a couple of my mates,me on the Street Triple, one mate on his 650 Enfield & the other on his old Bandit. We were remeniscing on days long gone, over 40 years ago when we were camping there, hooning around on two strokes..
Tonight I went for a spin on my own, caught a good sunset.

Ooh I like that, just the sort of thing I’d be interested in if you were ever selling.
What’s it like to ride ?

I went to Reading to meet the work gang as one was retiring. Due to traffic i took the XSR.
Coming home was the first time in 15 years I've ridden a motorbike in the dark! It was strange and very interesting at the same time. Not seeing gravel, trees, corners, most liberating! I actually quite enjoyed it!
