Talking of international travel within Europe, do I need a Passport to go to Ireland? I know there is no 'hard border' within Ireland, but I will be going direct from the UK to Eire.

No you don’t. You will need some sort of photo ID for however you wish to travel there though - they may want a passport for that.

Eire have the good friday agreement, and cyprus has an invaded part by Turkey. That no country in the world accepts as a valid occupation.
