If there's evidence to confirm it, then it isn't. But you know that.

There's always enough evidence for what ever anyone wants to believe.

Well, that means the same thing. If someone wants to believe it, they'll find something to affirm what they've been looking for.

Albeit someone seems reluctant to support his opinion with evidence.

You don’t have an argument DefTrap.

My arguments are well presented and based upon my expertise. I've explained the processes and their robustness which you were quite happy to have a groundless pop at. Maybe you want to have another try at "wasn't tested" and "wilfully dismissing evidence", you seemed pretty sure at the time.

Your YouTube guy has a track record of using unreliable sources to back up his very popular videos by the way. This is the trouble with not knowing what you're talking about, he might find something relevant eventually but it's lost in the fog of nonsense. But it's not his job is it? He has no professional duty to uphold. He can't be prosecuted if his opinion turns out to be wrong or unsafe like some of us.

Yes, of course. If something unexpected happens, and you’ve had the vaccine, it stands to reason that it was causative. Can’t prove otherwise, and somebody else said so too so…

Hang on while I put it on the Internet…

Thankfully, medicine has moved on from expert opinions to "evidence-based medicine":

Expert opinions still have their place in medicine, but only where a scientific study hasn't yet been done. In Covid's case, several thousand scientific studies have been done.

Nobody is saying that medications absolutely can't have unforeseen side effects. This is why information continues to be gathered, and mechanisms are in place to make it easy. But we know in general how vaccines work, side effects that aren't logged during the trial period are relatively rare. But yes of course it's possible.

I don't think it helps being lectured by amateurs like YouTube guy - in a format where only he is in control of the message - and also where he has a reputation for promoting a load of old bunk.
