Just been out for a better look at it. Tyres aren't old at all, nearly new if anything, and are BT023s! Super pleased at that! Levers are some adjustable, flippy up job and feel nice. I hate the look of the mirrors, but they have a good quality glass, so maybe a quality item? Will see how they are at motorway speeds. They do sit on extensions and look odd, but I've fitted mirror extensions before as the make mirrors useable for the, errr, wider man!
R&G everything including crankcase covers! No db killer in the exhaust, but it may have a tune to suit, will find out how it runs when I get to ride it. Absolutely stoked its got a power commander obviously! I kinda guessed it would, or would have been reflashed, as clearly the last owner threw his/her money at it.
A slight concern is, I sat on it and its cramped and that was barefoot. With boots on I think it's going to be very tight on my knee and possibly uncomfortable enough to get moved on.
I'm obviously hoping that wont be the case, and I do have a pair of Buell footpegs in the loft-of-plenty that will lower the peg height by best part of an inch, assuming the gear and brake levers can be lowered to match. So, some hope there.
From a pre-ride POV, I'm very happy with what I see and just hope its comfortable. I hope to sneak a ride out on it tomorrow, but am massively busy with work and trying to cover the 3 hours I have to waste on attending an online driver awareness course!
