I think the coverage missed Jamie Witham who I think is absolutely brilliant and dare I say it Stavros. I don’t think Amy Williams adds anything.

They started doing the " before the break we were watching....".

Yeah. I remember. It's only 4 minutes ago.

This is one of the main reasons I never watch anything live on tv. As soon as they start blethering,or shoving ads at me,the FF button gets mashed until they go away.

It's why I bought the TT+pass,as the practice & races were archived I would watch them after the event & FF through the adverts.
I do the same with Eurosport when watching BSB.
Another vote for James Witham on the commentary team.
If you like You Tube, this racer Dave Hewson, did a series of blogs showing how it works for the smaller teams. Here's one of his blogs

I've read a bit about the fact that apparently (big 'apparently') a few side car teams swap dog tags. Can't imagine it's common, but can understand a bit if it's supersticious/for luck

I did also read somewhere (here?) that this year was the first time the sidecar teams had to wear matching leathers?? I know in the past the two often had different leathers to each other and different helmets. Reading the report there suggests it was the different helmets that raised a question before (maybe as) the families raised concerns (wrong word, can't think of a better one right now)

It's an horrendous thing for the families to go through, but if the only identification was the 'wrong' dog tag in a pocket and they weren't wearing the 'proper' tag around their necks, then blame is difficult to place

It's just all so sad :(

I can only see the downside of wearing someone else’s tag.

It is sad indeed. Could be as simple as having your name attached to the leathers, a lot do it anyway but make it mandatory, maybe make it mandatory for the sidecar outfits so this can’t happen or at least reduce the chances of it happening again and then have it checked at scrutineering.

I said before but when I was racing I forgot my dog tags many times and all I did when I went to scrutineering was use a mates, they never checked it other than look at whether or not you were wearing some.
