So they do limit the bike before the first service then?
Yes 100%, I wasn’t sure the other day, when I was trying to keep within 7k I went over twice and I could have sworn one of the two times it was like a brick wall making me think it was limited to 9k.
Since going over 180 miles meaning I can take it to 9k I’ve hit it three times, first time I was like “was it” but I hit it twice today and it’s 100% limited to 9k.

That's one way of ensuring you keep your service intervals.
They don't tell you that it happens every time a service is due and it drops to 4k revs if you ignore it.

Another 116 miles added today, currently sitting at 339 miles so getting there.
They wanted a nose at the bike
He fitted a tracker when you weren't looking.
To be fair he’s only having a right proper look at it because I said I was going to take a picture and he said “I’ll make it out like I’m having a right proper look at it”………..
They’re just out doing checks making sure bikes at the start of the season are road legal etc.
I always run a 7x5 rear plate which is much cleaner looking than the standard sized monstrosity’s and he never said a thing, he didn’t even notice it.
Up to 415 miles now. Not long now. I’ll phone up this week and book it in for its service, depending on wait time I’m fairly certain it will be up to the 600 miles. I’m going to order the activation code for the GPS lap trigger and data logger as well, so I can utilise the dash when on track as opposed to using my Aim Solo 2 because I can’t be bothered mounting it, So that will be up for sale.
I've got a lap timer on the MT, ( left finger flasher) didn't know till last week. I had idea's of trying it, but never did. My thoughts were more on grabbing brake.

Same on this and pretty much the majority of the bikes these days. I don’t like it when you’re flat out trying to press the flasher for each lap when you really want to be concentrating on what you’re doing, that’s why I ended up the Aim Solo 2, I had the original Aim Solo before that too.
I've only taken my GSXS up to 9k a few times so far and more like 8k most of the time and it bloody flies. That only had 150bhp compared to yours, it's gonna be batshit
Early morning commute, mornings are getting a bit lighter which is great as it means I can have some fun with the quieter roads. They are ridiculously busy at other times.
That’s been the last three days on the bike and the good weather looks like it will continue. Hopefully the weather is good one Wednesday for the service, get a chance to see what it’s like once the 9k limit has been removed.
