Good going Weeksy.
Actually, using lbs as the unit of measure is more gratifying than kgs so I'm going for 14ib.

Damn right. Lose weight in lb and cycle in KM! It's the way forward.
Looking forward to seeing your Eeb thread. As a short term option you could do worse than come over and use @Welsh Muffin bike for a ride or 10.

Regarding E-mtb need to do some sniffing about first. Hoping the prices are less mad now!

Well, as of this morning I'm 5kg lighter than I was at my worst back in the autumn.

Combination of things - I am probably not eating quite as much as I was, but the main thing (I suspect) is that I've made some changes in the HRT I've been taking. Did a LOT of reading about it and have made the adjustments myself and seeing how things go. So far they are positive!!!

Still have approx 15-18 kgs to go - depending on how my clothes fit. I'm really not that bothered about weight, more about whether I can get into the nice clothes I used to wear!! LOL

Soon as I get paid in Feb I'll be joining the gym up here - mostly cos I won't ski during the day in Feb. I'll also start ski touring if the weather stays relatively nice - have needed to wait a bit for weather and also for it to be light early enough so I can ski tour before work - with time for a shower between getting home and starting work!!

But, I'm ridiculously happy to have cracked that first target (not 5kgs, but the number it now means I'm under!!). I've always lost weigh in winter, so I'm pretty positive now :D :D
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:
